Let's Take a Walk! 

        Hey! My name is Tarryn Nichols and I'm learning to love being outside in Florida after avoiding the heat like a sworn enemy for most of my life. I've always loved being outside in places other than Florida, but this state's diverse wildlife and natural beauty has begun to charm me too. While I live here, I plan to make the most of it by applying permaculture techniques to my yard and delving into environmental journalism. 

       I'm a junior journalism major at the University of Florida minoring in landscape architecture. I'm also a creative writer, poet and collector of frog-shaped items. I intend to use my skills as a writer to educate others about the Earth and plant a seed that inspires collective change. Join me as I dig into the world of permaculture and green landscape architecture.
